Maritime Heritage Park in Bellingham

Maritime Heritage Park, situated near the West end of downtown Bellingham, hosts a fish hatchery, an amphitheater, native plant trail and public display of local art.  A great place to enjoy lunch or just a quiet moment after a visit to the area antique shops or Whatcom Museum.

Mt. Baker, Bellingham

Today was the first day of fall… the wind was blowing and the temp was around 70…my run around the lake was awesome. My iPod gave me the perfect shuffle of songs and today will be fantastic!

Lake Samish is located about 6.5 miles south of Bellingham. It has an east and west basin. It is home to a beautiful swim/park area and a favorite place to waterski… Now THIS is living!

Chuckanut Drive, Bellingham

Cruising along Chuckanut Drive is always one of my favorite things to do when I need a moment of reflection. The views are amazing, the drive is fun and there are wonderful places to stop along the way…

Lake Padden Park, Bellingham

Lake Padden is another wonderful Park in Bellingham where you can enjoy a 2.6 mile trail around the water for a walk, jog or run. You will also find 2 outdoor shelters for group gatherings, playground, swim area, dog park, baseball field, golf course and more!  Always a favorite!

Bloedel Donovan Park, Bellingham

Located on the western end of Lake Whatcom, this is a popular park during the Summer months with its many amenities and swim area… A favorite for a family picnic with an optional indoor facility to rent year round. Bloedel Donovan Park is another jewel in Bellingham.
